I took my x out today, and it was being a pain. It wants to run about 20 feet, then die. But it starts first kick and idles like a champ. It acts like it's flooding, and yet it hardly smokes at all. I don't know what the deal is. Any suggestions?

You need to check the fuel flow. My 250sx was doing that when the tank filter was all plugged up. It would run until it was out of gas, and then some more would trickle in. It would idle ok, because there was enough gas for that

FIRST THING! CLEAN THAT CARB! The carb on my X gave me a few problems when I first got it. If that doesnt solve it, you may have to take it apart. Try some lead additive too. It helps them run cooler and cleaner.
