My 3 wheelers1985 honda 350x - Durablue axle +4, supertrapp exhaust, k&n filter, clarke tank, Answer bars, twist throttle (want a thumb), and scott grips, Just Put in a new cam and rocker arms! New hauler extremes 20x10x10 8 Paddle!

On a Supertrapp pipe 6-8 discs is the same as running a stock exhaust. When you go higher than 8 you should rejet.

Check your spark plug. It should be a darkish brown color.

with running 12 discs, you may lose some bottom end power but gain on the top end. a re-jet will be required. :-D

'83 200X - I have a supertrapp head and tail pipe as with a K&N filter with a drilled airbox. After doing that I had to rejet. the bike wouldn't run at full throttle. The jet in there was a 109 so I upped it to a 118 and it was running good but flooeded easy so I came back to a 113 and its perfect.
Does anyone know how the supertrapp really works. I notice the best low end grunt with no rings. If I run all 8 rings the bike seems slower. Is it OK to run it with no rings. I like it that way. Why would people put the rings on? For top-end?

Right now Im running no disc on my supertrapp. I dont think it will hurt it any, Ive been running it this way for quite some time now.
Here is how a Supertrapp with the disc on it is supposed to work:
More Discs (9-18) = More Top End Power at the expense of bottom end power
Less Discs (2-8) = More Bottom end power at the expense of top end power
