    Bent Axle on T3!

    I've noticed for a while now that my rear left wheel wobbles when I'm riding. You cant really notice it when your riding the trike, but I was following my friend when we were riding the other day and I can for sure see the wobble. I thought maybey I'd get lucky and find a bent wheel or hub, but nope. I pulled the wheel and hub and ran the trike in 1st gear while the rear end was on a jack and the axel is for sure bent. Where can I get another axel? Does Dura Blue make an axle for the '87 KXT 250?
    What are my options?

    maybe you could bolt on a 87/88 tecate 4 carrier and use a durablue extended axle, they make one for a t-4

    Is there anyplace that could straighten my axle? It's not bent very bad.

    take it to a machine shop and they can. but it wont be perfectly staight so if its not bad dont waste ut time and money on it. hope this helps.

    the t4 carrier will NOT bolt up to a t3 axle. the t4 has an eccentric style carrier.---Joe 8)
    The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

    I have a finishline +4" axle with aftermarket hubs to fit the 110mm pattern that i would sell. this is the race axle that jimmy white used. $275 plus shipping for the axle and hubs.

    just so you know that axle as well as any 86 axle will fit the 84-85 tecate. all you have to do is use a 86 axle carrier and it will bolt right up. the brake mount has to have one hole drilled and tapped. then you have a stronger and bigger axle on your 85 tecate!!!!
