ain't it strange how things work

i tried to sell these exhaust below. i had the Phase Five on ebay with a starting bid of $150 no reserve. the LRD i had a top offer $375,not bad but i wanted to at least get what i paid for it. now remember each exhaust is unavaliable today. you may come across them on ebay but i have not. so now i see a DG head pipe on ebay for this price. i mean good for the sell, but it gets me bummed. i just dont understand what i am doing wrong. maybe i am too expensive i dont know. o well looks like ill put them in storage and sell them later.

heres the ebay link to the DG http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35596&item=2469426 466

that link you posted makes me crack up.... Those are 199.00 from DK.. why would someone buy one off ebay, and pay more for shipping??

All I gotta say is, he must have friends bidding it up. Just like that 2500 Tri Z the other day... I wouldnt of given 800 for the piece of crap.

Ebay amazed me in the past, but nothing amazes me anymore on there. I have seen so much stuff go for more than it is new. I guess you need to start using the words "RARE"and "DISCONTINUED" more. That stuff alot of times seems to go for the big bucks.

A fresh coat of paint on that phase 5 would help a lot I would think.
