Missile made a kit only for the 250R. If you are looking to lose a wheel off of a 350X, you'll have to custom fab it.

    Where do I find now??

I'm pretty sure that this is not true, since I used to have return snail-mail, directly from Missle Engineering, That listed a part number for the 350-X conv. as well as the price. Also there was some "relatively little" thing that I was instructed to buy that wasn't included. ( I can't remember more specificly what this was either)

But do you think I can still find these papers?........no!!.......(Dang that "Murphy"!! )

I'd sure appreciate anyone elses thoughts, especially on wether or not there are any competeing companies offering the same thing. Even if all I cculd find was a "custom swingarm" that would sure help out my self done attemps at this conversion.

    3 wheels to two ??

Well, I guess that I can't dispute that. So, I guess that I'm strictly on my own as far as this goes.

Does anyone have any "Fab Shops" in mind that they could recommend to enlist the help of ??

How about any prominent three and four wheeler swingarm shops??

That would probably be a promising place to start.

Thanks to all you guys for your time and attention..........Dave

    350-X 3 wheels to 2 conversions??

Thanks "Krazy' and "85ATC 250R" for your contributions.

I'll file that "Streetbike swingarm idea", for use later on in the project.

Anybody else?? I'm looking at that flawless swingarm and then over to the abrasive "chopsaw" I just can't hardly bring myself to cut it apart!!

If money is kinda tight (isnt it everywhere) Id go to a local Vocational school, or even high school. Sometimes you can find students that are really good, and will build it for the price of materials and a case of beer. (they also get a discount on materials, so you win either way)

Thats what Id try to do.. and maybe even build the swingarm out of aluminum,... it would be one of a kind!

Any machine shop could do it, but its how bad they really want to, and how deep your pockets are.

or you could get to huge pices of rectongular tubingand weld it to the frame and get the front axle of on atc that uses a rear tire as the front example: honda atc 200 like mineand drill holes in the tubing and fit it together and you will alsow have a back braKe

Yep, I just happened to be going through one of my older DW mags, and there is an ad for a Missile 350X 2 wheel conversion. There's an old test posted at http://fly.to/TrikeHeaven . Good luck.
