    1984 ATC250R reedcage question

I have a 1984 ATC250R.for this ride I have 2 reedcages one reedcage has plastic meshlike reed valves and the other reedcage has metal reedvalves with another set of thick metal "fingers" on each reed valve (looks like to limit opening travel) which reedcage is stock and which reedcage would be recommended to use on my ATC. My ATC's motor has just been redone with a larger sized overbore somewhere from +.100 to +.120 so any info on these different reedcages would be helpful. thanks

the one with the metal reeds, and metal limit "fingers" is stock., for best performance use the ones that are plastic meshlike., these are obviously aftermarket, theres nothing different about them, just the reeds on them are different, they can be changed,, you can buy aftermarket reeds for them., and even a whole new aftermarket reed cage/valve, 81-89 ATC/TRX 250R reed cages/reeds will all interchange with each other
Give me no lip and I tell you no lie.
