    86 250r aftermarket crank bearings need imput on what to get

    i need new crank seals and bearings and i need to know what kind i should get and where to get them.

    Your local Honda dealer...The bearings are about $15 a piece, and seals run about $6 a piece.

    cant disagree with that.....factory bearings are the best......they lasted this long right??

    you will hear alot of opinions about this i am sure , many say that most all bearings are the same but i would go with factory if possible....good luck, greg

    yes sir.. dont get cheap bearings in there.. oem honda is the way to go.. but i thk they are more then $16 a piece, even from service honda...

    Yep, factory is the way to go especially somewhere that important crankin serveral thousand RPM's. The OEM crank bearings for my '81 250r are $26 a peice I believe, somewhere in that range.
