GOT A BRAND NEW BASSANI PIPE!!

I got ahold of a brand new, never used Bassani pipe for a tri-z 250. It costs me $200. I should have it by Friday. I've read about Bassani in the magazines but never actually knew anyone that had a Bassani pipe since they are impossible to get. Does anyone on this board have a bassani pipe on their Tri-z? If so I would love to know how it runs. Where exactly the power is.

From what Ive read it makes a really noticable difference, especially if youve got some other mods along with it. Im almost positive you need to re-jet.

I took a shot at calling Bassani directly to see if they can still produce a pipe. They told me I gotta better shot a hitting lotto (lol). Anyway, they said they gave all there old atv stuff that didn't sell to a place called T.C racing. I called him up and he got back to me a day later, telling me he has one. I sent him $200 and he shipped it out from cali. I asked how many he had and he said he only had that one for a tri-z, so I guess I was lucky. For all you Tecate guys, when I called he said he sent one out for a kawisaki 2 days ago so he might have another one laying around. if it isnt already chromed, and you might want a chrome pipe i would get it chromed before you use it, because if you use it the chromers wont chrome it because you can never get all the carbon out

Tommy is a good guy. I sent him 200 for a 86 tecate pipe. He didnt have 86 pipes. He sent me an 85, which I returned and then got a refund.

Trikerider, Bassani pipes arent only for two strokes. They have them for 4 and 2 strokes. I know Howdy had a Bassani pipe for a 185s a while back.

Denn is talking about the pipe, but Bassani made pipes and silencers for 2 and 4 strokes. 4 strokes have a head pipe and a silencer also.

Actually Bassani makes or has made exhausts for pretty much every vehicle under the sun that someone would actually put a performance exhasut on. This thread is about expansion chambers. The other folk are talking about head pipes or headers.
