hey anyone know the db that comes from dg pipe for a scrambler 500. thats all it says on it is DG. i put it on and it seems pretty loud.. like alot louder then stock. i know that all after market pipes will be loud but this one is like a big v twin motor bike.

Teaching quads a lesson
Its going to be ALOT louder than stock .... the OEM muffler is well baffled and the exhaust tip faces downward - which actually helps alot. I would venture to say the DG silencer is well above the 93db limit - but - its the price you have to pay for a couple of more horsepower and a huge weight advantage. You didn't say which DG silencer you have. If it has diffuser disks, you can always add more to quiet it down.
