    Air box cover removal,rejetting neccesary?

I took off my airbox cover and now it seems i cant use wide open throttle. When i hold it open on a straight i can only use 3/4 throttle or it starts to bog and sputter a bit. Any ideas? Do i have to rejet or could it be another issue besides the airbox lid? I havent tried putting it back on yet because i live in a residential neighborhood and the neighbors call the cops if i ride it around here. Thanks for any help!!!

Most likely, yes, you will have to. The engine is obviously getting more air, but not enough fuel. I'd hop up a size or two.

Definitly, and like he says a size or two bigger should do,,, but ive seen some bikes where after removal of the bowl cover they needed as much as 5 size of jets biggger. And not too mention to get the maximum out of your bigger jet you should increase exhaust flow with a better exhaust systeme. But not mandatory.
