Getting inserts out of plastic tank...?

:? :x I went to unscrew my bolts that hold on my engine/rad shrouds but the inserts spin. (Plastic tank) I've tried pulling the inserts out but they won't move. Does anyone know how I can remove the bolt or remove the insert so I can remove my rad shrouds without damaging tank? Help......

Well, How did you do it? I assume it is on a 86/87 Tecate right? I know mine are a trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro to get out since I use loctite on alot of stuff. When I have a similar problem with a fastener in something like that I have used a soldering iron to heat up the bolt/screw and it will loosen up the loctite and help me get it out.

    Plastic tank inserts

The inserts is a 10mm brass looking nut. I pulled on the bolts until the insert was barely showing, then I put my specially made (thin) 10mm open end wrench on the insert and unscrewed the bolt. Kawasaki said that tank was form around the inserts. Basically, Good luck!
