Yamaha yt125 and yt175 compatability .. ??

Will the 175 topend fit on the 125 bottom?
is the electrical all the same?
the oil setup?

what else?? ....

also do you know if a dt175 engine will bolt in? I know the kickstart will be in the way but I am just wondering if its a direct bolt?? That would be cool

i was gonna try a 175 top end on my old 125, but the guy that had it kinda fell through. I sold the 125, so I dont know, but it looked like it would. I dont think the stroke is different, but someone needs to try it.

Yes yes they do, I would also like for that dt engine to bolt in that would be sweet.

I have a question though .... on the axle on the right side the nut is it right or left hand thread? are any of them threaded backwards?

I think I am gonna do a restore/custom 175.

NEED MANY PARTS!!

one more Q here in the summer it gets pretty hot like 100-110F or 30-35C is the engine gonna seize up ?? or should it be fine?
