    im ready

i hear what you are sayin' man. I really want to go to TF04 but am not too sure I want to make the 9 hour drive by myself. There are a few ohv parks near me but nothing with camping at them (at least the ones I am aware of). I would really like to meet some you guys that I type at on occasion so if you got something in mind lets try to set something up. btw you are in minnesota right? ever go to Haydays by the twin cities. I plan on making a trip up there this fall to check things out. anyway, lets put something together. later---Joe
The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

The official Midwest Trikers ride is at Little Sahara Oklahoma, July 9th-11th. We've had our trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro together for over a year now, and have had 5-6 group rides.

If your not referring to the Midwest Trikers, then say something like, Mideast trikers.

Not to dis you guys but Mike from Long Island and I drove 13 hours to get there and it was worth it. How many times a year are you going to do something like this???? Come on, even Hagen aka Greenboy came over from Germany! There's nothing like a good roadtrip.Leave your skirts at home, buckle down, suck it up and make the trip!

When we were riding up in northern minnesota this past winter saw a place to go riding up by Cotton MN, I think the state designated it as an area to ride but it might be cool, thinking about going up there this summer

Yeah Haydays is awesome. You can just about buy or sell anything there for snowcats, atvs, etc...and get severely intoxicated.

Other places to think about for rides Detroit Lakes or Brainerd or Rainy River or Lake of the Woods

Guys the Iron Range Rideing Area in Gilbert is kick ass i went there before it was built. Its in an old mine I cant remember what it is called. But there is a camp ground in Gilbert. Its a city campground and its huge plenty of room for all the people that want ot go. I would definetly go and try to help as much as i can to get it to work.

I was always wondering why you guys chose that name. I was taught in school that the midwestern states were OH, IN, MI, IL, WI, MN, and IA. Ive never heard of Oklahoma being referred to as a state in the midwest. I first found your site looking for local riding areas because I live in Ohio, and that always caught me for a loop. Just curious if there was a story behind it.

because public schools teach lies.. lol

Look at a map. The Middle of the U.S. is a town called Kinsley KS (dont argue with me you flamers, its a proven fact and Ill take a pic of the sign next time Im through there) .

Soooo.. Middle and a little west, would be... Mid West! I chose KS, OK, TX, NE, CO, NM, SD, and ND. I based the name off of Real Geographics, not what someone else calls the Midwest.

The only 2 states that are in MWT right now, is OK and KS. For some reason the Texas guys think they are to good for us, and no one is really from NE on up. No NM that I know of, or CO. MO riders complain because they want in.... but Im sticking to my guns!! lol

    midwest?

I guess ive always considered Texas as South Central, MN as north central. I can understand geographically the midwest should be Colorado, but was taught the same as Timsr. I also consider anything south of MN the Deep south, just because I live in MN. lol
