Dynofox or others that have used plastic renew!

Is there any tips to applying it?? I did the process, but on my black plastic, it looks like is was a bit streaky. Like the direction it was applied. Is there any way to prevent this? My uncle suggested using a sock intead of the towel included?

How many coats have you applied? Mine looked a little streaky until I added more coats. Using a sock or towel doesn't sound like a bad idea either.

What i usually did was put a fair amount on the towel, then applied it in even strokes. I applied 4, then steel wooled it, then 2 more coats, then steel wooled again, and 3 more coats. I didn't give it a lot of time to dry. Should I allow more time? It seemed dry to the touch, but should I give it the full 5 minutes?

I think it may just be the black plastic. I'm sure it didn't look absolute perfect from the factory. I'm sort of a perfectionist, I'm sorry, lol, I get all hyped up, then I'm disappointed by everything in life.... At least it may be better than being depressed?? I'll try to sand it more with the 400 paper. Maybe that might help...
