    Question 86 Yamaha Tri-Z help

    I seen that I have a gasket between the reed valve and the carb. I use to own 2 other Yamaha 4-wheelers and they didn't have this. Well my problem is that mine is no longer usable, so do I need a new one or should I just go without. I know that metal to metal is not a good seal, so that is why i am scared to do this. Any help is appreciated.

    you need a new one, you could make your own using gasket paper, or silicone, but its better to just get a new one.
