May 19, No gas day?

DON'T BUY GAS ON MAY 19TH
IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES. AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL COMPANIES. THEREFORE MAY 19TH HAS
BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT UP THEIR BEHIND " DAY AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY.
THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT. WAITING ON THIS ADMIINSTRATION TO STEP IN AND CONTROL THE PRICES IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REDUCTION AND CONTROL IN PRICES

REMEMBER ONE THING, NOT ONLY IS THE PRICE OF GASOLINE GOING UP BUT AT THE SAME TIME AIRLINES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, TRUCKING COMPANIES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES WHICH EFFECTS PRICES ON EVERYTHING THAT IS SHIPPED. THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING MATERIALS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES ETC. WHO PAYS IN THE END? WE DO!
WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE DAY, WE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. SO DO YOUR PART AND SPREAD THE WORD.

Now I read this letter and first thought... "That might work"
Then I read on other posts that just one day would not make a difference we would all buy gas the next day... well, try to make it as far as you can on the gas you have now. Don't make those extended trips to every store, walk if you can. Try to live off the gas you have now for as long as you can.
I'm gunna do it, go for as long as I can on what I have. You can too.

theres NO way this is gonna work .... Think about it, you try and stop like what 1 billion (or however many people are in the USA) from buying gas yea right .... Maybe someone should change the date to like June 19th to get some notice ...

Also so people dontbuy it for one day What would that really do? Like you will just need to buy more the next day ....

Just do not by it on the 19th of every month.When I tried to raise my prices people did not like it. So now if I pay more for gas and don't charge more,I have got to pay more and take a loss.What is this anyway,America?

Hey AA, its not the distributor or the refiners, its the super high taxes on each gallon, isnt it like 50 cents tax per gallon?? Thats where the "gouging" is, the governments share. Taxes SUCK.

I got it the day I posted. Sorry. I heard it on the radio this morning also. They were saying that today is "National No Gas Day"....

Hahaha Tim you so craZy. But I think if you didnt buy gas from the huge distributors like Exxon and SHell and so on then it would impact it more than just a one day deal.
