Hey look at this cylinder and head I won... Does it look like the head is powdercoated ?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEBWN%3AIT
I got the item now and when i scratch the head it dont seem to be paint?
Also on this head it has like a dome on the inside if you look at it ...
And on my other head (stock) it does not .... Anyone know why?
Seems like the head I just got would have a lower compression ratio.

That doesnt look powder coated to me? It might just be high temp paint? I dont really think powder coating the head would be a good idea! The yt175 is air cooled correct?

Could be a ceramic coating? Either that or the whole thing was bead blasted.

Looks like hi temp paint to me. Powdercoat has more of a smoother look.

alright thanks ... if it is high heat paint .... there seems to be some on the head on inside part where it sparks ... I am sure that will just like melt and peel right off.. Hows that gonna do with the piston?
also heres a paint pic of the heads .... The one of the left is stock and the one on the right is the one i bought .. thats like a side split view .. do you understand?
