    should I buy this?

A trashy looking guy at the local flee market has a 1984 Honda 200 3 wheeler he's selling for $300. It starts right up on like the second pull. The pull start is a little broken, as in the cord doesn't retract all the way, about 4 or 5 inches remains out. Still even with a shorter pull it starts pretty good. It's pretty beat up but for $300 why not? Suggestions. I'm new here.

    soooo

if you kinda like it + it runs w/o alot of smoke and feel it is something you can beat up or restore,,, why not ?
the pull rope is only hanging out cuz it didn't get a final wrap upon replacement of the cord.
do this 200 have any other bad habits that you have seen ?

Is it a 200X, 200R, 200S? They are all set up a little different, but used parts are plentiful and reasonably priced, on ebay and locally here (Wichita, KS). I have an 85 200X and it is the best old 3 wheeler that I have had. If you're not going to pick it up, let me know where to go!!

Sounds like a 200s. Good little trike, very little reliable. I miss my old one.
