z dg silencer/pipe compatability!!?

hi i have the 2 stroke racing dg pipe on my z n i was going to try n buy this silencer off of ebay

but looking at the dg pipe info on the net it says:
"Use stock or DG Type II silencer" with this pipe

is this because of the hi air flow needed or what?
will the ebay pipe work fine? also which silencer is the ebay silencer? the seller dosen't know!!

It will probably work fine. The fact of the matter is that when DG designs their pipes they can only test it with a limited number of silencers, therefore the pipes are only tuned for what is most likely to be attached to them, which are the DG and stock silencers. Your best bet to get the most performance out of the pipe is to use the manufacturer of the pipes silencer, but like I said, it really doesn't matter much as long as you use a silencer designed for you bike.
