    Urgent Exaust Stud Question

    Gday,

Pulled my head off today but the lower exaust stud bolt snapped off, leavign about a half centimetre left. I have had it in the vice trying to turn it but it will only give a small bit and then stop again. The top one was threaded and came out easily. Is this one pressed in or threaded also? How do i get the trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro out?

    Thanks,

    Matt

It would be threaded on there. I run into this all the time. I just a little PB blaster lube and a low torch flame. If that doesn't work, use an easy-out screw extractor before you mess things up too much. If there is enough to weld a nut onto so you can back it out that way, go for that one too.
Anyone know of a new project machine for me around Wisconsin?
