    Time for Tires....

I'm thinking of some new tires for my 85 250R...the orginals are flat now I'm leaning toward the Kenda Knarly...I heard they slide well. I don't want to much hook up when cornering (bad for trikes!). I also thought about Holeshot XCs, but they might hook up too much when cornering. Any thoughts? Oh, I ride mostly in the desert...some sand, but mostly dirt and rock.

I've heard a lot of good things about the knarly's but have not tried them yet, I have holeshots and would highly recommend them.

I have Holeshot XCT tires on my Tri-Z. I like them for trail riding BUT you are correct that they don't slide worth a darn. They hook up too well.

I haven't ridden anything with the Knarlys yet.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine switched from Holeshots to Razrs on his quad. He says they slide much better.
