    Rusty brake cables....

    The cables on the 1983 185 seem to be stuck/rusted. The WHOLE cable moves (the insulation/covering and everything), not just the cable inside like its supposed to. Which means...no brakes.

    How do you guys get them unstuck....or do I need to buy new ones?

    Are they supposed to be lubed somehow?

    i would take it off and let it soak in cable lube or wd. but usaly if the get stuck that means there gone but its worth a trie
