It is just waiting for the new rear caliper. The old carb was toast so I'm running a 85 250r carb. It runs great! I am running stock gearing with 20 in tires from a 400ex. I need a better seat and rear fender.

Most 4 strokes don't have wristpin bearings.
I know for a fact 400ex dont, .....

Well, I guess I'm stupid, but it works and the throttle response is great! It runs a tad rich, but I am not concerned, because it gets a nice chocolate color on the spark plug. It doesn't bog at all! It required a 3 inch long 2 inch diameter hose from a tractor to make a good fit! I just put a 300 ex brake caliper on the rear that works great. My other was shot! It even had a HA5 on the caliper, which is 350x as far as I've been told! I will go take some pictures of the set up. This bike was a real basket case, so I am pleased that with minimal investment that it runs like a M-F!

my only real concern was how he managed to cob it on, so please, pull the finger out and chill, i've just seen alot of pics how people have cobbed carbs onto there machine and thought "oh boy.. here we go again" but i see you did a nice neat job getting it on there, definatly the best i've seen, usually theres alot of tape involved, LOL

Yeah, I have seen those also. My real 350x carb, was so screwed that even after I rebuilt it and got a new throttle cable it still ran like shat! I had this Keihin PE 34 mm stock 250r Carb sitting around and said what the *! It surprised me that it worked so well. Hey I have about $900 total in this 350x and it is a great 3 wheeler. I still like my 85 R better and same with my 400ex, but this 350x impresses the crap out of me!

No, this was in Maryland and on Ebay, but the buyer was in Illinois and the seller wouldn't ship it! I was runner up bidder and he made me the offer if I'd come get it. I said sure and made a short road trip up the Eastern Shore.
