    200x stuff

    hey, i just rode a banshee the other day and i was like holy crap....that thing flew. And then i jumped back on my X and felt like i was riding a power wheels. So i need to get some mods on my bike to keep up atleast in trails w/ this guy, cuz i am gonna start riding with him some...what do you guys suggest...other then a rocket strapped to my azz. I was thinking the stroker from powroll, a cam, and pipe...but i am not sure how i would fair then either...take it easy yall

    get a 350x or a 250r, you will spend a fortune modding your 200x to compete while still having inferior suspension.

    I say keep the x. you can bore the piston, get a pipe, and an air filter.

    Every time someone puts a post up about modding out a 200x someone always seems to put up this same quote...

    Great advise for the 80's-90's but not really practical for today. I haven't seen a 250r for sale in my area for quite some time, and when there finally is one in the paper it's either already gone, or beat to death. One thing for sure though a 200x will never be able to truly hang with a banshee no matter what mods you do to it. And yes, you will spend a fortune tricking out a 200x. But, that's all part of the fun. nothing beats the look on a guys face after he's his trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro handed to him by a threewheeler. That's when it becomes priceless.
