    flat spot in my acceleration

What would cause a flat spot in my acceleration on my tri-z? I will be cruzing along and then it then it takes a second and then the bike is gone with the wind. Do i play around with the air/fuel mixture screw or what?? Im lost.

It's not lean, i have a 500 main jet and the problem was in the 1/4 to 1/2 throtle. I think i might have solved the problem by adjusting the air/fuel screw on the carb.

i had a real bad flat spot. i accually changed my exhaust. it made a huge difference.plus jetting the biggest thing 200xman and myself figured out is it is a 2 stroke (my Z ) with a lot of topend work as well as a top end pipe and sliencer. you had to ride the bike hard. but now with the new exhaust it ran smoother and once i work out a few more bugs it wil haul arse
