    95 bayou 300

    i just purchased this for my wife and she wants it lifted. i have searched but have not found a lift. how hard would it be to make one.

    you do not want this quad lifed as the suspention on it makes it really tipsy i find. my freind has been the hospital numerious times because of his kawasaki 300 bayou. I dunno how hard itd be but i think u shouldnt lift it. The higher you make it the more tipsy it will be.

    check this out...it has lift kits for the 300 bayou..definately make sure its nessesairy tho..take it for a ride n see if u think its tipsy it could just be me.

    I'm assuming this is the 4WD model. All a "lift" is, is a bracket that bolts onto the bottom of the shock itself and on the shock mount. The height of the bracket = amount of lift. If you make you're own, do not go more than an inch or two in height. It not only makes it more tipsy, but it puts alot more stress on the CV axles in the front because of the increased drive angle and are alot easier to break.
