    Clutch Question? Need Opinions

Hey guys I have a question. I am looking at buying another trike to fix up. The guy says that if you stop with it in gear it still wants to pull forward a bit. Creeps forward. It sounds to me like the clutch is out of adjustment, Too tight. What do you guys think. It has the semi-automatic wet clutch. I know how to adjust them, but have never experienced this problem. I dont wont to buy a heap if you know what I mean. Any quick opinions would be greatly appreciated.

There are two clutchs in an auto clutch. One looks lkike a typical manual clutch and only disengagaes when you shift gears. The other (centrifugal clutch) is hanging up if its pulling while sitting still. It could be as simple at the idle is set too high, or it could be a problem such as a broken spring on the centrifugal clutch itself. I had a one way bushing go out on one, and it was fully engaged all the time. You didnt mention what make and model you are looking at, but of the ones Ive worked with (which isnt many) they had no adjustment for the centrifugal clutch.
