Some have told me that on a 86 350x the oil filter cover has 1 o-ring while some tell me it has 2, which is correct? Also, which way does the oil filter go in, hole toward cover or motor?

Hole toward cover. The solid cover presses up against the spring. There are 2 o-rings. Most people dont notice the small one.
