I have attatched a pic, ive had two diff opinions, one said it was stuffed one said it would be ok. You can see that the tang on it has been broken off by me (idiot).
Tell me what you think...

I would NEVER put a broken piston back in anything,,,,, not worth it..........
A new $80 piston is well worth the piece of mind you will get from knowing you wont have to spend $300 on a complete rebuild from when that piston grenades your engine.

I would get rid of it. Cant see your pix though. I put in a bigger one in my atc 185s because it smoked a lot and there were a lot of scratches in the bore due to a cheap man's k and n red shop towel filter (minus any oil ). I also finally figgered out why I couldn't get it to start for the past year or so. Anyways, I am very pleased with the results. I touched the throttle and I almost fell off the back end. Thank goodness I have a rack in the back. There are many pointy rocks in the lawn.
I cant belive i accidently broke that, i was being to careless. Now ill have to fork out 100 or so bucks for a new one. Big shame....

Make sure the bore size is ok for the new piston. Have the new piston and the cylinder measured by a machine shop to be sure they make a good fit.
