I was wondering if suppertrapps 4 inch racing exhaust for their 85 xr 200r will work on my 85 200x?
does anybody know....what other pipes are pretty good?
I just wish i could afford the dg stage 3, has anybody got one of these?

i was just thinking the same thing today. i really hope that the xr200 pipe will work cuz u cant get a new super trapp for the 200x's anymore.... or can you does anyone no if they still do?

Any thing can work with a few mods. It prolly wont bolt right up but you never know. Here is a Supertrapp for you. They say it is for a 350x but its not. The pipe has the same mounting as the 200x. It also has one headpipe entry, the 350x has 2.

I have a genuine 200x supertrapp exhaust for my 200x project, i will post pic when i get it painted, damn, i should've taken a pic of it, before i grinded the Supertrapp logo off it. I traded it for a dirtbike shock, that came with my x, staight up, pretty good, seeing as how the shock was no good to me
Caution
Do not "POP WHEELIES" and run for any distance with the ATC. The oil capacity is relatively small and the oil will drain out of the oil pump area thus causing loss of oil pressure, resulting in costly engine damage -CLYMER

Here's some pics of my supertrapp exhaust i just got for my x, I don't know if that's the stock header or not, I started taking the rust off, and i took most of the supertrapp decal off, i should've taken a pic first. oh well

on my 200x I used one of the cheap DG pipes and with minor modifications
added a supertrapp core to make it spark arrestor legal. I run a K&N with no airbox, rejetted the carb, wiesco 10.25 to 1, and have 10 disks in the pipe.
I have a friend with similar mod's & an old supertrapp pipe and we run with
almost identical performance.

The pipe is the DG "power" series , I dont know if it is still made for the 200 or not. I am happy with the performance the way I have it set up, and its not
too loud with the supertrapp core-
but as for the bad things people say about DG's quality, in this case I agree.
I had to repair some poor welds and make a few fitting adjustments, It is a cheap pipe by todays standards though so you get what you pay for huh?
I have seen the new x-cellerator DG makes and they are nice! I would try
one of those if I was doing it again. attached are a few shots of my trike
at various stages of my project.
