    help me make my 84 250r fast

    i am tired of getting left behind. i do not want to get rid of the air cooled r but i might be forced. what can i do to make it faster. i am having problems locating performance parts. what parts will cross over to other models. it is completelt stock. come on guys help me out

    about the only thing i can hang with is a blaster. my 85 was so much faster but i love the air cooled

    250r

    I have a 1984 250r and I shaved the head,and 85 carb 34mm,Dg pipe,and I ported the cylinder.This thing has a real strong powerband pull's real hard.I have to use super unleaded.The only thing I don't like about air R is in high grass it overheat's.

    where did you get your pipe from. also i have bee nthinking something was wrong with it. it runs like a champ compression is great starts first kick regardless how long it has been sitting up. first and second i do not have alot of power but third it picks up. i know i need a new silencer this thing is very loud. but hondatrikesrule i will never sell it. you no how hard it is to find 2-stroke threewheelers around here

    hey man i have an 82 which ive yet to be able to ride cause i dont have a flywheel but i just ordered the DG header pipe and silencer, im gonna have it ported and polished and am adding a rad valve with carbon boysen reed and a 1/4" spacer and ill probably change the sprockets out also went to a 10" wheel in the back with a 20" tire so well se how it runs when my fly wheel gets here, im gonna have a custom swing arm made before i have it ported and polished though. check out www.denniskirk.com thats where i found some of my stuff. i think there are also a few other pipes made for your year but i may be wrong seeing as our motor are the same but ill ive found was the DG so i bought it should be here tomarrow or sat.

    Yeah its really hard.... . I hope to find a 2-stroke 250 someday though. Hey, I got my 110 running,we ought to do some trail riding someday. You of course, would have to slow down and wait for me though.

    The only place I know is Skeeter MX, but its just a track,no trails. I don't know of any good trails around here. But yeah I will take you up on on that offer. Let me know. Pm me.
