    atc70 street leagle

Hey guys im goin to a junk yard next week to trade some 86 200x parts for a some atc 70 parts i want to build one. Im goin to get a rolling chassis. And then i want to find a 125 m motor with the eletric start and put in. Have a head light and rear light. ANd i found some miers for it to. I was think if i can find some dot aproved tires that small. Could i make it leagle for the street jsut to take to wal-mart. My town local spedd is 40mph. I think the 125 motor will do that. But is there really any way i could make it leagle for the street. I think it would be kill some big old bars so my knees dont hit. It dont need resvers cause you could push this. I really wondering if i could ride it on the street. Im goin to build one anyway i was just wondering if i could ride it on the street. let me know what you guys think. thanks

Neat idea but i doubt ud be able to title and tag it for street use, less of course u merged a frame from a street bike that allready had a title with it and somehow combined it with a atc 70 frame.

You might be able to make it street legal depending on your state. Most states classify a motorcycle as having "3 or less wheels on the ground."

You will have to put the DMV on speed-dial...lmao

Dennis Kirk sells dot tire kits for quads that comes with the tires and wheels, all you would have to do is get the rim size for the trike and just order the back tires, also some cars have the same bolt pattern as alot of atvs, the ford festiva, and escort both have 4/110 bolt pattern i think, wich is very comine with alot of atvs, especially honda. i am not sure what you could do for the front tire thugh that would be hard.

intexas you can. motorcycle tags go by the weight it dont matter how many tires are on it. it is possible but the people at city hall will frown, you can always make it agricultural, there is very few laws there
