How long is a 200s chain in inches?

I think my chain has streched is there any way someone can measure there chain and tell me how long it is? It's a 85 200s. will a 125m chain work on it?
    Thanks Eric

the chain should fit, you may need to just add a few links at most, aint no biggy

most chains would be a different length since they are different sprocket combinations so the best thing to do is just to buy a chain that is a little bit longer then you need then that way you can always take some links out of it instead of using half links that are not very strong.

All chains are constantly stretching throughout their entire lifespan. When a chain is worn out, it simply means it is stretched to far to properly fit on the sprockets. It has nothing to do with length. Sometimes you can remove a link from a stetched chain, and still have plenty of life left without it being worn past properly fitting the sprockets. You can check your chain by wrapping it around the rear sprocket, grab a link and see how far you can pull it away. A new chain wont pull away at all. If it pulls away and shows more than half a tooth, its probably time to replace it. Chains are measured in links rather than inches. You need to count your links, and get something off the shelf with some extra links, and then cut it to the length you need. This is much cheaper than trying to order a custom fit OEM chain. Yours is a #520 chain size. I dont knwo many many links, but lets say its 107. You simply buy a #520, 110 link chain. I suggest O-ring or X-rings chains for all ATVs, as the dont stretch out nearly as fast, and though they cost more, they are much cheaper to run. Running a chain taht is stetched beyond proper sprocket fit, will result in much faster wear of your sprockets.

chain size is 520, 84 links on a 200s. Front sprocket is 11 tooth, rear is 43 tooth.

125M chain is a 428. It is smaller and won't work on 200s. A 520 chain should measure 27.50 inches in 45 pins. 27.75 or above it is recommended to be replaced by honda specs.

Dont do it! Shortened chains EAT sprockets! Trust me, 100 bucks later I decided that 30 bucks for a new chain was cheaper. :o
