    1967 chevy pick up

my older cousin has had this sittin in his garage since 97. the guy that owns it is moving to flrorida and doesnt want it. so he gave it to me. it has a bunch of new parts for it still in the boxes all over the garage. he drove it in the garage trailprotrailpro taking it apart so it definetly will run and has a good tranny. i was told that it has majority new parts and some old still in good shape, basicly every thing BUT the bed. so whats your opinion o this should i do it and if i do wut should i do about a bed because a new box bed for it is like 5,000 so im not doing that and plus it's going to be the thing that lugs around my toys it i do it. well thanx alot

I would say put a custom bed on it. Use like 1/8 diamond plate or something....

If you want to go cheap and economicly, just make a flat bed out of some diamond plate and channel iron. Then used expanded metal to protect the back window if you want.
