    200x Piston Removal

I have the engine all apart and found the piston to be cracked. However, I can't get the thing off the crankshaft. I remvoed the 2 ring pins on each side of the piston and still no moving. How does that shaft thing running thru the piston and crankshaft come off?

Can someone please help? I have searched other threads and didn't find anything related.
    Thanks

PS. I'm sure someone will tell me to buy a manual, but I dont' want one. All I need to do is remove the piston and I don't want to spend 30-40 bucks and wait for a week just to get the piston off.

    Thanks

The piston is connected to the rod by a wrist pin. When you take the circlips out you are supposed to be able to just slide it right out of the rod and piston but most of the time you have to tap it with something on one side to get it out. Most likely, since the piston is cracked the wrist pin will probably be a little difficult to get out. Just make sure you be careful while knocking it out...brace the rod and be easy on it or you could damage the rod and the rod bearings. Good luck!!
