New '05 Polaris's - 800efi Sportsman, new Pheonix sport quad.

The new 2005 polaris's came out on the 24th. The biggest news is the new 800cc EFI, dual exhaust Sportsman as well as the Predator getting a reverse gear. Theres also a all new 200cc entry level "Sport" model with a dual A-Arm front suspension, decent suspension travel and an auto tranny. Judging by the pictures though, it looks like a total piece of dog crap when compared to a Blaster, Z250 or 250EX - but hey, maybe it'll make them some money.2005 Polaris line-up

no joke why dosnt somone just jump the gun and go straight with a 1000cc, that pheonix is one fugly quad, i think it would look better if the front platics followed the frame better

I believe theirs something to do with government not allowing bigger CC machines, with 800 being the limit. The 800 is only 760cc.

Theres no government enforced rules or laws about anything when it comes to ATV manufacture - basic safety guidelines via the CPSC, but no hard fast rules. Technically, trikes could be made again since the decrees expiration. Theres a CPSC mandated weight limit of 600 lbs for all single rider ATVs but every major manufacturer is guilty of breaking that one - they seemingly could care less what the CPSC says about that.

Whats the deal with polaris and their gay plastic racks? Im really not a fan of polaris quads. They have some okay sport ones but i hate their utilities. Stupid crappy plastic racks...what will the think of next

Not to crazy about the Pheonix but if your die hard poolaris then it's a nice addition to the line up. I would like that 800efi though.

I've read couple places that polaris might be releasing something new next month.
Heard from new Camo package to maybe a big bore sport quad, to compete against the V-Force.
