I have a blue Yamaha 250. How can I find out what year and model it is. I am having trouble getting it to run and need to get a book or something! Any help would be great..

i think you mean 225 yamaha, a couple ppl on here own them, either a 225 DN or DR?

I am not sure, I thought it was a 250 but? Thanks for the help. D you know where I couyld get a manual?

Look on the side of the cylinder. The displacement in CC's will be stamped on the side, I think a 225 is actually 223cc. There should also be a sticker on the fork down tube. You can get a manual at your local dealer or I know there are some up on ebay right now. Feel free to PM me if you need any quick questions answered. I have worked on a few Yamaha's including thw 225's
