They do about 55-60mph stock. Good overall power and handling for trailriding, but need some mods for aggressive riding, sand, or racing. They have no oil cooler, 350x does though

A more realistic top speed is 50-53mph.
The 1st thing youll hear is how underpwoered they are......and yes for a 300 (282cc) they are.
The things the 300EX DOES have going for it is: FUll Hydraulic discs, reverse, fair suspension and e-start.
Against it: Underpowered, air cooled and tricky reverse lever

Try 45mph stock mine is ok but it is no power house I would just go up to a 400ex I have mastered the reverse lever on mine i just use my foot. If you get one buy new tires. Mine are bold i just got a set of a 400ex with 80% tread for $20 but i can't get the stock ones of the rims.
