hey!mad max ya got the supertrapp pipe, im buyin some 24 in paddle masters for the mud :Evil, then it will be bad, how much work is required to put the 300 piston/cylinder in eh te see?Did any of you have to replace the U-joint in the shaft? how hard is it?Thanks

I believe he is running the 200X front end with either a 200X or 350X tire and rim. You can make spacers to run whatever tire and rim you so desire - 250R, 200X or 350X but you'll have no front brake running it on the stock SK forks. Or slide in 200X forks in the SX triples and again - make spacers etc but you can run the disc brake.Originally Posted by jmsmilin

How much effect did you get out of the trx300 cylinder and piston. I have both and might consider installing in my trx250. Will the crank 300 crank work in the 250?

yes. a very large gain in horsies like 30-40 percent in overall performance. and i really love the works performance shock, that is by far the best investment.

eh tee see, tell me more about the works shock... plusses/minuses construction quality, ride, etc. I emailed Works and they emailed me back that the SX shock STARTS at $289.

Are you talking about the trx250x and the 300ex? If so they have the same cylinder it's just different strokes.

Alright lets go.... Where is the post on both the 300CC improvement and the rear suspension??. Last I knew you tossed a Rancher shock in there or something. Forgive me if I am wrong but a couple dozen people on this board would like power and suspension improvements for their SX and we would appreciate your sharing it with us all!!

that is a good deal on that Works shock. THose are ussually like 500 dollars. Lets here about that 300 swap.

A little update on my SX......... the 350X H\L showed up today, needed a little cleaning up but it works and its in good shape.... the 250R front fender is a little pink, it had a ton of fading but I think it looks alright.
The rear plastic looks rough because I'm in the middle of a re-sand and re-finish.
I'm working on a new name for my trike, I think It'll be "250SX-R"
The Works shock should show up next week, I'll post pics when I get it.
