extended swinger questions for 200x

first how do i extend mine? can i jsut use some box metal? how do i figure out what size chain to use?

Find a professional to do it for you. Sure it's going to cost you some money, but at least it will be done right. A swingarm is not a good place to learn how to fit and weld. A Lot of stress is placed on the swingarm.

As for the chain, Buy too much and cut it off to fit. The leftover piece makes a cool keychain.
