I think if some how the manufactures could make new trikes, and price them the same as they used to be people would buy them becuase of the cheaper price. But thats just an "idear"

If I remember right there is a Petition going out on the web somewhere that is trying to NOT let them BAN trikes again. Need someone to find it, but it was huge and I singed it. The original ban was for like 9 years or something, I remember when they did it I had just gotten my first 84 250R and thought they might try & come take it away from me... :Evil I was gonna run with my trike
So they're NOT Ban'd from production anymore but I think the gov. is still highly aginst it and would try and stop it again if they needed to, so find that petition and sign it IMO!
& why can't you put a 450 motor into your 250R frame??? People fit them into their 250R quad frames all the time, which takes the same motor as the trike.

Actually I'm the one that started that petition your talking about. After doing some investigating though I found out that what I had heard and understood about the CPSC trying to put the ban back into effect again was actually BS. I was/am a bit embarassed of making such a big deal out of something that turned out to be nothing...

I wish someone could put these figures together with car related fatalities and add in the variables I mentioned and see how things compared, I think everyone would be very surpised at the relatively safe statistics of a threewheelers vs a car in the same enviroment.
