which is better 250 r or tecate

I am looking to buy one or the other that is the era i grew up in and still think the are the two of the best three wheeler or four wheeler ever built.what is yalls opion which one is better ???

The 86-87 Tecate is a great racer, is the better slider, higher top speed and looks great in green. The only really hard parts to find for them are aftermarket swingers and right radiator shrouds.

The 85-87 250R is a great bike also, only slightly slower than a Tecate, handles great, jumps great and looks good. Lots of parts availabiltity as the motor is shared with the 87 250R Quad, and every man and their dog has an R.

I'd go with the Tecate, put on some 18 inch Turf Tamers, DG pipe, new reed cage, number plate, Progressive fork springs, Raptor shock, wheel spacers, new brake pads, PRM grab bar, Greenboy on this site is making swingarm skids so I'd want one of them...its not hard to find parts for the Tecate, I've found everything I want for my 85 and it wasn't hard.
