    Bad Azz Quad!!

This thing should be built today. I bet they would be cheaper than a cannondale, and sell pretty good. I love ATK's This, I would buy. The pic is from 1993

Anyone remember the ATK quad featured in 3&4 wheel action a few years ago? It was a 250R based chassis and plastic with the ATK 605 motor in it. It was only a prototype but they loved it. Their was a shootout between it, an LT 500 and a banshee also in which it got high remarks. Anyway, it was an awesome machine but it never made it to production. It wouls have been a nice Raptor muncher.

asked my ATK dealer about it today, he said they only made mabey 10 in 93. Since Bombardier owns Rotax wholly (since the early 70's) I think they would not dig a competitor to the DS650. I dont think ATK will be making any quads for the general public anytime soon. :x For the record, that is the Rotax big 4 stroke, its made in many different displacements, the one pictured is around 600cc. I had an ATK 605 dual sport for a while, it was the greatest bike ever.

I hope that pic is distorted, if not than that quad would make a raptor look like a flattracker, talk about a high center of gravity! Still cool looking though I nearly bought a atk 406, but decided it was going to be too much of a project, they had some odd designs in the day
