Too bad it's not street legal. If it doesn't have a differential then it's not supposed to be on the road in most states.

Couldn't tell you why they make the laws but my guess is to make it so it's very difficult to get sport machines on the road. Maybe it's a safety thing?

It depends on the state you live in. Some states let you use a straight axle and some dont. Personally...I dont see what the difference is between that and a truck/hot rod running around with a spool in the rear end *shrug*
