TRX450R muffler on 350X......

Can you get some pics of the "junk" muffler? I might be interested in it. And can you get a sound clip with that 450r muffler on? I am thinking about replacing my cobra, because of the too much noise/ too little of a power gain. And did you notice a power gain going from one to another?

I can't say I noticed any power gain nor a loss.

I don't have any way of getting you a sound clip.
But, if you want to hear what it sounds like, truck on over to a Honda shop (or a friend who owns one) and listen to a stock 450R.
My 350X sounds JUST LIKE the 450R.
I compared it to my brother's bike. Uncanny.

I attached a pic of the old pipe.....it's not pretty, believe me.
I have another person interested in the oldie right now so he gets first dibs on it.

I won't say it doesn't take skill, but it's not rocket science either to build an exhuast. It doesn't matter what your building it for (talking 4-stroke) the same things apply. You want smooth flow that breaths well. How much more will you gain from buying WB system compared to a DG Excelerator? Unless you have extreme motor work done it won't be cost effective. Now if you want to have a WB system that bad then that's cool. more power to you. The fact is that a custom headpipe designed to run into an exsisting WB silencer out there will be just as good. Most likely if WB made a system it would be like thier others but they would charge you an trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro load because they won't be moving as many as they do for todays popular models. I still say that we as a 3WW community need to find more ways to retrofit more products so that we can use todays tech and not have to wait on the big manufactures to make them again.

LMAO....so what are you doing? Paying Whitebrothers to custom build you a 350X exhaust system for $800??

Why not buy their universal slip-on and take it to a muffler shop for $50 or less and have them make you a pipe to connect the muffler to the header

no no no they make one already but i would just need the silencer so i could just find one on ebay or somethin but like i said before id rather have an LRD for cheaper, but it doesnt matter unless i find another 350x roller now cuz i found what ive been lookin for, a XR600 motor to put in it, but its worked and a 660, so my 350x motor is goin to get rebuilt and put in a box on a shelf until i find a roller : ) im happy now
