I have two stock 450r exhausts off of my 450s if anyone wants them shoot me a pm.. One has the HRC tip, and that tip is hardly a reason to keep the stock exhaust heh...I went aftermarket, and would never go back to stock.

It is a good idea and does look sweet but it looks like one of those old little honda civics with one of those huge tips that sounds like a lawn mower......

New member guys, currently doing a complete frame off rebuild on my 350x, will put up a build thread, anyways like what you guys were doing with the 450r muffler so I just ordered me 1 from ebay!![]()
^ If you had looked in Classifieds, I've been trying to sell one with a midpipe already made up and an HRC tip![]()
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
you rag on me for adding material to a frame, yet put an exhaust that weighs 30 pounds on there! lol
Aww man! Wish I would looked there dirtcrasher! Brand new to the site and havn't saw everything yet!
What Jet size would you guys think would be good with the only mod being the 450r exhaust? Or should it run fine with stock jets? Thanks
Unfortunately it doesn't do allot in stock form. You MAY be able to bump up the main one size IF you remove the airbox lid.
The HRC tip is 3 or 4X the diameter of the stock 450R tip and it allows you to jump up quite a bit more. They are hard to find for sale by themselves and cost roughly 38$ for the HRC tip. With the tip you can jump a few sizes and also bump up the pilot jet..........
You will also have to fabricate your own midpipe to get it mounted.
I think this is the link - http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/s...ight=450R+350X - to the original fab work I did to get mine fitted up, hope it sheds some light on the whole swap![]()

Sweet that answers my question, thanks.
If you get the 400ex headpipe you dont have to create a midpipe. It will line up wiht 1 cut and weld of the headpipe.
I think the 450r pipe that I have may already have the hrc tip or something similar. How could I tell?
