    Whats the BEST Front Tire for a Trike

    What front tire is best for a 3-Wheeler, how much and are they still sold. Lets see what you all think.

    All depends on the application. For a sport trike, I'll go with a Kenda Front Max. For a utility trike, a Carlisle plain block knobby.

    Scorpion knobbie seems to do alright for me, and I'm a big guy (350+), and the wheeler doesn't do that much pushing instead of turning with a meatier tread. Of course, if you run them on pavement it seriously shortens tread life on ANY tire. Good luck!

    Although I have the Kenda on the front of my 350x, I have found out that the OEM honda tires are still available from the factory for only 37$ so I think those are the ones to get if you can.........peace

    Chaparral also has the origional Ohtsu front and rear tires to all the ATC's and the early 250R/X

    I use the Dunlop 23x8x11 on the front on my 250R and is the same tread pattern as the OEM tire.
    84 ATC200X--Wife rode it once, now I can't get it back.
    84 ATC250R--Trying to find piston for 300R kit.

    Front Rim is 10X8.5

    My Tecate front Rim is 10"x8.5" I have 22"x11"x10" Tires all the way around. Turf Tamer rear on the front. I dont see a size that will fit my rim. What size tire can I put on this rim? I'm confused I guess.

    Your gonna have a hard time find the right tire for the early Tecates on the front. I BELIEVE Dennis Kirk had some a while back, www.denniskirk.com but I'm not sure whether they still do or not.

    i have a 23.5x8x11 Kenda Front max on my x...its a good tire
