    Buying a '99 Honda CR250

Hey, I've finally convinced myself to give 2 wheels a shot. I've rode many before but never actually owned one.

I found a great deal. A buddy of mine has all three of his dirtbikes for sale. He has a '99 Yamaha YZ 250, '99 Honda CR250, and a '01 CR250. The YZ's coil went out, the '01 CR needs rings, and the '99 CR needs jetted since he added an FMF Fatty without rejetting and a brake lever. Anyways he selling them all for $2,000!! Thats a hell of a deal right there, but since I don't have that much spare cash I told my neighbor about it and he is going to buy all three of them and let me have the one I want for $700.

So, I'm gonna buy the '99 CR250 for $700!! I've rode it and it hauls ass and runs very good but needs the front brake lever and rejetted. Just thought I would share my find...

Sounds like a kick-ass deal! I hope I can find a bike for that price.

thats a good price.....but does seem VERY low, especially for its year....CR250's are good bikes, but the Suzukis Suspension is very soft, and i love it!
