Good point HRC. He says the motors were rebuilt. Like Holic or Mikeftlaud, perhaps he couldn't find the liquid cooled cylinders?????

I'd still love to have them.

im still up in the air about that "air cooled" comment. I did tell RYDER that the air cooled top ends would fit the Rotax bottom, wich is true, however look closeley at the 125, it appears to be plumbed correctly, doesnt it? Also, when speaking with the seller on the phone, he asked me "how do I know if its air cooled or liquid cooled?" "I'm just going on what ive been told." These guys "fell on" these Tigers, not original owners, too bad I didnt "fall" on them!!! I wonder how this auction will go? I wish they did them seperate, I love that little 125!

From what I can tell on the 125 is that there is only one hose and that looks like it goes from the radiator to the case just below the cyclinder. Just to the right of the spark plug looks like a hose but I think it might be a pipe bracket, its hard to tell. Ask him to start the 125 and see if the hoses and radiator gets warm, and see if there is coolent in the radiator and see if there is atleast 2 hoses going to the radiator. this pic almost does look like a coolent hose.

The air fins on the 125 kind of look like they go into way too deep for there to be water jackets. But its hard to tell.

I also thought that Rotax would have used the same bottom end for the 125 and 200, but when you compare the two http://www.3wheelerworld.com/Tiger/Tiger200Engine.jpg they look way different. Is it possible that the 125 might have reeds and not the rotary intake or whatever its called? Yet it doesn't really look like there are reeds between the cyclinder and carb.

I've heard the reserve is $5000, but yet someone in Trikeslyvania said he'll take $3000.

This is one cool find. Please, whoever goes to look at them take lots of pictures and get as much info as possible, and tell those guys about the site. This is one of 3 or 4? Tiger's we've seen on the site, and the first Tiger quad.

I think we should sit quietly by and let someone from here win them for a fair price so please dont go trying to enlighten the seller, who found these bikes and has absolutley no idea what they are, who made them and if they are worth squat.for gods sake, they think "Rotax" made the bikes. not to mention they have only had them a short while, its not like the guy is the original owner, I got a better Idea, lets all email the guy, tell him they are worth more than Ross Perot, and Bill Gates, and make absolutley sure nobody ever buys them. We all know sellers like that, lets not manufacture one ourselves by being stupid

Interesting fact, NADA lists the average retail on the 200 at $215 and the high retail at $230 and Kelly blue book doesnt list them at all. Oh yeah ,NADA also does not list the quad or the 150. So if you aint got it in the bank, or have a rich relative , you will have to go with the second mortgage.lol---Joe 8)
The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I e-mailed the guy and asked if he'd split them up. I also told him that he has probably has gotten a lot of e-mails about them after listing them for sale, and creating quite a ruccus. I think he will not be able to sell them because everyone wants them and the price will go to high for most people. I think an Honest price for them would be 3,000. They are pretty nice though. I would drive out there to pick one up if the guy would sell me the quad for $1,200.00 LOL, I think it's worth a little more though. I think I would drive out just to pick up any one of them if they were sold for a reasonable price. NY is a good 10-12 hours from me I believe.

I agree with that, wholeheartedly. I bet he paid 2500-3000 for the whole lot.
