    84 tecate carb trouble

on my 84 t3... sometimes, the float bowl likes to over flow....it was perfect until i wrecked my streetbike, and now after the road rash healed, i put gas in it... now it likes to over flow... sometimes... sometimes it wont, but sometimes it will....

its strange, i pulled the carb, made sure the floats arent stuck, cleaned the needle valve.... but still, sometimes it'll overflow... and keep overflowing until i shut the fuel valve off... and sometimes, it'll be fine... this bothers the crap outta me, anything got a solution ?

and another thing... the bike will run like a champ, but the day someone comes wanting to buy it... runs like crap, and doesnt want to start...but soon as the potential buyer leaves.... the bike will run great.

does the bike like its owner that much ?... lol... the only days the carb overflowed, were the days people came to look at it wanting to buy it....

    this bike is haunted

My Tecate used to do the same thing until I bought a needle and seat on Ebay.$7.95 and works great. The guy I got it from is in New Zealand and calls it a float valve on Ebay. In fact I think he has one listed right now.Good luck!!
